Overview
「Mellotron Sound Card 08」は、M4000D シリーズのサウンドを大幅に拡張するカードです。
Sound Card 08 には、オリジナル・アーカイブのチェンバリン・サウンドに加え、近年録音され、Mellotron Sound Archive で使用できるようになったサウンドが収録されています。新しいサウンドでは、Blonde Redhead（ブロンド・レッドヘッド）が録音した８つのサウンドで、例えば、個性豊かな Rhodes エレクトリック・ピアノや、クールなシンセ・サウンドなどがあります。Woody Jackson（ウッディ・ジャクソン）は、ディーガンのシェイカー、チャイムスと弓で弾くビブラフォンの異なるテイクを録音しました。古いサウンドは、Card 03 と 06 のサウンドをイントロに使ったループ・バージョンです。さらに、Chamberlin Music Master 600 ライブラリから、13 種類の未発表音源を収録しています。

※M4000D、M4000D mini、M4000D Rackのファームウェアのバージョンが古い場合、起動時にファームウェアをアップデートします。ファームウェアはサウンドカードに内蔵されており、新しいサウンドカードをM4000Dシリーズに挿入して電源を入れると自動的にアップデートが行われます。
※「M4000D」のシリアルナンバー150以前の個体の場合、ファームウェアのアップデートに特別な手順が必要になる場合があります。詳しくは福産起業サポート窓口までお問い合わせください。
※このサウンドカードは初めて使用する際、自動でM4000Dシリーズ本体に対してアクティベートが行われます。アクティベートされた本体以外ではご使用できませんのでご注意下さい。
※Mellotron Micro はカードスロットが無いため Sound Card シリーズは使用できません。
